Well, I'm voting, Plaid cymru" who holds both Anglesey and my home county of gwynedd. @@RhysapGrugI just cast my ballot today. As far as relations, they’ll be what they’ll be. Things can’t be worse than Biden who regularly disrespects the uk. Starmer is a muppet but these days, there’s no difference between the conservatives and labour. They’re all centrist social democrat blairites. This will be the last decade of centrist blairism. The right will reorganise after the cons are rightfully smashed and generate a real right wing party circa 2035. All part of the Brexit healing process and the tories had to die for their betrayal.

lmao i love that there are people out there who still don't realize the China Threat is just a public marketing campaign to justify using taxpayer's money to continue paying for a near trillion dollar annual defense budget. It's easy way for defense corporations to keep earning contracts, politicians to have their grassroot voters happy and employed with the defense industry within their territory and also great income potential from selling weapons to other nations neighboring to China, as well as spending billions moving assets around when we know China isn't a real threat. It's sure a good enough gamble in putting our troops in harm's way for a potential unnecessary conflict.

We cannot wait until 2030 for the US Constellation Class Frigates. We need something now in the Red Sea and Persian Gulf to fight the Hounti and pirates. That said nothing wrong with using what we got. Maybe too many pension liabilities or acceptance of non STEM Degree in the military. PS Another reason is politics. For example, after delay of the USS Gerald Ford it was assign to East Coast....However, most of tax dollar came from the west coast to build it...USS Gerald Ford was assigned initially to Pacific...to steal the funds...

What Russia don't have is "MONEY"...... #INDIA will save Russian Tank industry just like earlier in 1980s, when India ordered thousands of T72 and T90 from Russia...... India's Lastest FICV tender for buying 1600+ units of Future main battle tanks, and 1600+units of Infantry fighting vehicles will finalised soon, RUSSIA'S T14 ARMATA, and SOUTH KOREAN K2 BLACK PANTHER are Top competitors. Chances of T14 winning the Tender are possibly high because Russia may offer local production and assembly of T14 in India. Already 464 units of T90 MS are on order by India, Highly upgraded with foreign and local systems and locally made new T90 mk3 Just started delivery last month. I'll take 5 years to complete the delivery of all units, maybe later that T14 order will be given.

It was found out after the wall fell that although the USSR had armor they did not have the best supply chain, and there was and still is a lack of a strong USSR NCO core. USSR would of had to secure the property they took, something they prepared for with the use of tactical nukes. The USSR would of driven to Paris and in doing so despoiled Europe, the troops would of had a hard time securing an area with radiation poisoning. The US and NATO forces would of pulled heavily on attack helicopters and of course at this time France had one of the largest land forces they just were not willing to fall under USACER command. The USSR would of probably have stopped at the French Border, tired and weak with US forces willing to fall under a unified French/USACER command. Meanwhile fallout and radiation from some of the larger tactical nukes would of made the USSRs ability to "take" the things they claimed impossible to hold. Meanwhile Detroit cranks out steel. For a USSR win they would have to cut off the Atlantic and take out US command and control.

Russia's biggest problem in 1980 was the exact same one they had in 2022 once beyond their logistics relies entirely on their rail network and once past their borders they have a logistical range of around 100km. After that the tanks simply run out of gas. After the collapse of the Soviet Union the Russian military archives were briefly available, and it turns out the entire idea of a tank charge across all of Europe was not part of any of them, their plans the entire time assumed that NATO would be the aggressor and they had prepared a defense in depth to counter it before a counterattack against an exhausted NATO similar to the eventual strategy in WW2. The idea that Russia would push NATO to the sea seems to be originally US justification for increasing the domestic military budget and was not disputed by Russia because it made them seem more powerful then they were and might make NATO hesitate to attack them. That story became so wide spread that most Russians now believe it which is why they started the Ukraine war trying to steamroll the defenders only to be met with a defense in depth and counterattack against an exhausted invader exactly like the old Soviet plans called for.

If Malaysia do invade Singapore, the most likely scenario is a lot of SG Friendly countries will aid SG and intervene. And you all should know, SG has a tonne of friendlies including China and USA despite having tensions between the two, as well as all countries in NATO. SG in this economic sense, strategic sense, and diplomatic-wise is considered way too important, unless diplomatic relations have their shit hit the fan which is VERY unlikely in my lifetime. And either way, no one wants a war right now, the economy will hit everyone like a tonne of bricks. Take a look between Russia vs Ukraine.
